A day at the ballgame is a unique and memorable experience. We pride ourselves in the dedication we have towards our goal of satisfying the needs of our customers. Please let us know of additional accommodations you may need.

What are the rules regarding the consumption of alcoholic beverages?
Beer and wine are the only alcoholic beverages served on the rooftop. Bringing outside alcoholic beverages of any kind is prohibited. We reserved the right to stop serving anyone that appears intoxicated or unruly.

How long are alcoholic beverages served?
Service of alcoholic beverages is discontinued after the seventh inning. This is set by city ordinance and applies to all rooftops.

Does Down the Line Rooftop offer any special pricing or promotions?
Down the Line Rooftop offers special discounts for selected games and events throughout the season. To take advantage of these offers, follow us on Twitter or Facebook for last minute deals or special pricing.

Does your facility include conference rooms?
Down the Line Rooftop has a separate conference room to meet the needs of your company or corporate event. Wireless Internet is available as well.

Is parking available at Down the Line Rooftop?
Down the Line Rooftop does not offer parking and parking around Wrigley Field is very restricted. We recommend public transportation. The CTA Red Line stop at Addison drops you off just steps from our entrance.

What time may I arrive at the rooftop and when does the rooftop close?
Guests may arrive one hour before the first pitch. Down the Line Rooftop will close 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game.

Are there age requirements to attend an event at the Down the Line Rooftop?
Guests are required to be 21 or older and have a picture ID. Guests under 21 may attend as long as they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Will I receive actual tickets by mail?
Down the Line does not mail tickets. When purchasing tickets online, you will receive a confirmation email once your purchase has been approved. Please bring a print of the confirmation email with you when you check-in at the entrance. When purchasing tickets by phone, your name is entered directly on our guest list for your particular game. All you will need to enter is your ID.

When do I need to submit my guest list for a group outing?
Please email your completed guest list tickets@downthelinerooftop.com at least one week prior to your game date.

Can a guest list for a group outing be changed once it's been submitted?
You can change your list prior to arriving a Down the Line event. Please call us to confirm your party at 773.975.5677.

What do guests need to bring to a rooftop event?
There will be two rooftop employees stationed at the entrances checking in all guests. Please bring a valid photo ID. We do not have an ATM on site, so a few dollars for gratuity might be needed.

Am I permitted to hang banners or bring signs on the rooftop?
Banners or signs facing the ballpark will be not be allowed on the rooftop, as per our agreement with the Chicago Cubs and the City of Chicago.

Do you offer any special accommodations?
If you need something special just ask. We will do everything we can to accommodate our guests.

What is your cancellation policy?
There will be a full refund if the Chicago Cubs cancel the game before its scheduled start time. There will otherwise be no refunds.

Does Down the Line offer cab services?
Cab service is readily available on Addison Street, ½ block south of the rooftop.

Does Down the Line offer group ticket sales? And what is the minimum group size?
Groups over twenty qualify for group pricing. We also offer packages for Bachelor/Bachelorette parties and Birthday parties as well.

What is the rain policy for an event or game at Down the Line Rooftop?
If the event is cancelled due to rain prior to the scheduled start a full refund will be issued. If your group has assembled on the roof and wishes to stay after the scheduled start time has past, no refund will be issued. Once your group has participated in any food or beverage service no refund shall be issued. Once the game has started, there will be no refund, regardless of rain delays, postponements, or cancellations. There is a full-service indoor entertainment area to keep out of the cold or rain.

What is included in the All-Inclusive Down the Line price?
The All-Inclusive ticket price includes: admission for one to the Down the Line Rooftop on the selected game day; food and beverage service from the DTL menu; and full access to the indoor and outdoor seating within the clubhouse and on the rooftop.

What are Down the Line Rooftop's Menu Offerings?

Beverage Services
Beer offerings include:
Budweiser, Bud Light, Miller Lite, Amstel, Heineken, Corona, Mike's Hard Lemonade, Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy (seasonal), Blue Moon and Fat Tire.

Wine offerings include:
Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Soft Drink offerings include:
Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Squirt, Mountain Dew, Lemonade, Iced Tea and Bottled Water.

Alcohol beverage service is discontinued at the end of the seventh inning, as required by law for all rooftops. Food and all other beverages continue throughout the game.

What forms of payment does Down the Line Rooftop accept?
Acceptable forms of payment are cashiers check and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). In general 50% is due at time of booking, the remainder is due within 30 days of event, or April 1, whichever is sooner. If the event being booked is within the 30-day window, then payment is due in full at time of booking.

Who should I make my check payable to?
Checks should be made payable to: Down the Line Rooftop.

Are there any additional fees?
All food and beverages are included in the admission fee, as well all applicable license, facility, insurance, taxes and partnership fees. Gratuity is NOT included.

Ticket Policy
Tickets are available for game date only. You may purchase multiple tickets for yourself and as gifts. You must be 21+ years of age to attend or be accompanied by a legal guardian. You must bring valid photo ID.

Disclosure Statement: Down the Line Rooftop is endorsed by the Chicago Cubs. Down the Line Rooftop is endorsed in that it has resolved its differences with the owners of the Chicago Cubs and pays 17% of all revenues to the Cubs as a royalty. Down the Line Rooftop is an independent contractor and not an agent, representative or joint venture of the Cubs and does not have the power to bind them in any manner whatsoever.
